Black bean hummus
So delicious. So versatile. And so easy to make.
Equipment
- Blender
- Citrus reamer
- Measuring cup
- Tablespoon
- Teaspoon
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked black beans
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons black bean water Either from the can or from the water you cooked the beans in.
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove
- Olive oil For drizzling on top.
Instructions
- Roughly chop the garlic.
- Add all ingredients together and blend until it's a smooth and creamy texture.
- Scoop into a serving dish and drizzle generously with olive oil on top.
Notes
You can use a food processor, standing blender or immersion blender. Use the one that has enough power to blend into a creamy consistency.
